Before you decide
Is the $9 pack really one-time, or does it renew?
It is genuinely one-time and never auto-renews. You pay $9 once, get 25 redesigns, and there is no subscription hiding behind it. The two monthly plans are labelled monthly precisely because those are the ones that renew until you cancel.
What do I actually get for paying that the free redesign does not give me?
The Room Plan: the exact paint brand names and codes with their LRV values, a lighting plan worked out in real lumens, and the designer rules applied to your specific room. The free redesign shows you the picture; the Room Plan is what you would hand a painter. Paid plans also unlock Fit Check, HD renders and Precise repaints.
Do I have to pay to try it?
No. The first redesign is free with no account, no card and no watermark on screen. You see your own room restyled before any money is mentioned, which is the order we think it should happen in.
Do I need an account to buy?
Yes, and only at the checkout step. You sign in first so the purchase attaches to a verified email — we added this after someone checked out with a mistyped address and their credits landed on an account they could never reach. It costs you one extra step and it is the reason nobody loses what they paid for.
Will the redesign show my actual furniture?
It keeps your room and works from your real walls, windows and proportions, but the furniture is regenerated rather than photographed. Your sofa will be recognisably your sofa in its actual place, not a cut-out of it — if you need a literal photo of a specific item in your room, that is what Fit Check does.
Which plan should I pick?
Most people should take the $9 pack. 25 redesigns covers a whole home in one payment that never renews, and decorating is usually one project rather than an ongoing habit. Choose a monthly plan only if you expect to keep redesigning over months — for a single house, the pack is cheaper and simpler.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — your first purchase is covered for 14 days, in full, and that includes simply not loving the redesigns rather than only something being broken. Email hello@roomcalm.com or reply to your Paddle receipt; we aim to answer within two business days and Paddle returns the money to your original payment method.
How do I cancel a monthly plan?
Use the “manage subscription” link in any Paddle receipt email, or email us and we will cancel it the same day. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and nobody will put you through a retention flow to talk you out of it.
